Practicums
Hands-on experience is vital to consolidate development of skills. During the training blocks practical experiential learning opportunities will be provided. Participants will participate in an evangelistic series which will be supervised by the lecturer presenting the course, Preparing and Presenting an Evangelistic Series. The practicum will include:
- How to prepare an evangelistic sermon
- Use of visual aids
- Obtaining decisions
- Preparing people for baptism
- Other related areas
Between training blocks there will be an intentional practical component which will be based in the local church. This is designed to support participants in their growth and development as Lay Pastoral Assistants and Youth Bible Instructors.
